Every day being a Friday!, reading outside until the failing light and singing crickets tell me it's time to go inside, cinnamon broomsticks, a grocery basket full of fresh produce, the new show "The Chew"... fun, having my own home to truly live in, every room being a 'living room' w/ fresh flowers, cuttings or plants, surrounding myself with beauty and my new 12 year old voice student... you should hear her sing "Pocahontas"!  Love my job.

Steve going to Publix for me and fixing me gourmet pizza for lunch, going to the bank, being accepted into VSA as a teacher for the disABLED... an honor, listening to Brazilian jazz, looking forward to some time with my daughter Shannon this weekend and wearing my new shoes.

A loaded baked potato, the gift of the novel "The Help" from a close friend that owns a kindle and thought of me, my sister Michele shopping at Wal Mart for me, a weekend with scheduled art and voice lessons, finally getting my filing done, playing the piano late into the night, and my new sculpted piano box given with love from one of my oldest favorite piano students.

Going through flames and succumbing to "a peace that passeth all understanding, the simple joy of a favorite chair, miniature Kindergarten piano students, reading in the front courtyard this morning with Panda, meeting my new adult art student. They most often become good friends!

My butterfly wings may have been clipped but still I can fly, losing my marbles and it being okay, waking up... I am still amazed that God gives me this opportunity, cooking for one with real china... place setting... fresh sunflowers and my current favorite books, given the chance to love so many good people in my life... even the not so good... I love them too, AND the sound of silence.

I get to leave the hospital tomorrow after over two months!, Heavy thunderstorms, Steve and Jennifer getting my house ready for me, split pea soup, looking forward to painting BIG and playing my piano, my new wheelchair friendly herb garden from my son Steve and cooking with it, and the sound of silence in my own peaceful home.

Being your own best advocate, somebody placing a hot cup of coffee by my bed this morning to wake up to, somebody else (the rehab center) doing my laundry, doing physical therapy even if I don't feel like it and my nurse taking my plant home to her house to try to save it... we can call it Lazarus.

Painting roosters, the new show "For Rent" on HGTV... realistic for today's economy, choosing raw baby carrots over peanut M & M's, lots of ice and lots of sugar free soda, the new page "You Know You're From Gainesville Florida If....."  So much fun!!, saving things to paint to my desktop and accepting my new "friends" diabetes, a blood clot, damaged kidneys and active vasculitis... time to put my "big girl underwear on!"

Using the mouse to change the channel on the T.V., taking a nap, tortilla soup, listening to the voice of reason, new magazines to read, having pictures to paint and Sunday morning.

Using my rollator walker more, new art/guitar/piano students (yippee!), playing the piano for an hour, learning German music for "Germany Week" here at the rehab center, Steve bringing me microwave popcorn and baby raw carrots, paying my bills online, painting ten 5x7 watercolor notecards last night and HGTV.

Working with home physical therapy, not procrastinating, hummingbirds "playing" with Cardinals, key lime green, spraying  Panda with lavender Hartz spray for dogs... (he thought it was fun "Where's my treat?), reading books on reinventing yourself,  four year old and fifty year old new piano students..and, playing the guitar.
