Saturday's Grace Notes

Staying up late drawing, getting up early to teach a voice lesson then teaching a 2 hr art lesson this afternoon all from my home art and music studios... from a power chair,  "Hello, my name is Nancy, and I am addicted to popcorn"... with Parmesan cheese and garlic,  finding out that my "help I've fallen and I can't get up" button is NOT waterproof... oh please!  In order to be first I have to be last... and learn how to wash feet,  taking the time to smell the candle before I blow it out and Micheal W Smith Christmas music.

Watching more movies by myself... along with popcorn of course! living within the hours of today, biscuits and honey, not completing everything on my to do list, my new non "mom jeans", playing O Holy night this morning with my voice student, and connecting with those I love.

Left brain, right brain...  I can't decide, asking "how are you?" and really listening to the answer, mindfulness, the pressure of  commissioned paintings due this week... a good 'problem' to have, heavy rains to sleep to, making an "ignore list", pushing "spellcheck" and having nothing to correct, my new table on the back lanai, and popcorn with spicy curry and garlic.
